Mr. Bradbury's Writing Style

"Sometimes I'm ancient. I'm afraid of children my own age. They kill each other. Did it always use to be that way?" (Pg. 30)

"He felt he was one of the creatures electronically inserted into between the slots of the phono-color walls, speaking, but the speech not piercing the crystal barrier." (Pg. 46)

"As he stood there the sky over the house screamed." (Pg. 13)

"They're about nonexistent people, figments of imagination, if they're fiction. And if they're nonfiction, it's worse, one professor calling another an idiot, one philosopher screaming down another's gullet. All of them running about, putting out the stars and extinguishing the sun. You come away lost." (Pg. 62)

"You must understand that our civilization is so vast that we can't have our minorities upset and stirred." (Pg. 59)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bradbury has a very unique writing style. It's filled with a lot of description and detail. Arthur Miller's style was in play form a lot more and had less detail. His style in The Crucible was more dialogue than anything.
Science Fiction is Love
Science fiction is a genre of fiction. It's kinda like fantasy except the imaginary elements are possible within the scientific laws of nature. It's largely based upon alternative possibilities and it usually takes place in the future or in outer space with robots and aliens. Jules Verne is a well known science fiction author for having written 'Journey to the Center of the Earth,' 'From the Earth to the Moon,' 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea,' and 'Around the World in Eighty Days.' Mary Shelley is another well known author having written 'Frankenstein.'
I don't really have a set idea for the podcast thing.
Banned Books
People ban books because they get in a hissy fit because it's "wrong" to them and goes against their (most likely the main cause) religion. And then they start making a bigger deal out of other stuff in the book like sex and violence. But, uh, sex and violence is pretty much the American way nowadays. You have a boring book? Throw in a sex scene. Instantly better. Safeway sells porn. I kid you not. Seriously just go to Safeway, flip through a book, and find that sex scene.
Banning books goes against our freedom of print. Honestly, if you don't like a book than don't read said book. Just don't try to extend your tyrannical reach onto me. I can read whatever the bloody hell I want and nobody can stop me, because that is my right.
And yes. I have read like about three books off of that banned list. Yay me.
Blog Poem of DAVID BOWIE.
Yes plz. And, uh, it's totally here. CAN YOU FIND IT?
David Bowie dazzled my world
He dazzles the whole POPULATION.
Best ACTOR ever.
Because of his sexy pants, especially in the VIDEO
The Labyrinth.
Wow, those pants were tight.
It was a SPECTACLE.
That movie should be more GRAPHIC.
Especially down there.
Yeah.
This is so totally CREDIBLE.
I’m not biased.
Don’t look at me like that.
David Bowie could tear a TRACTOR apart with his sexiness.
Doesn’t need a REVOLVER or anything.
Yes.
Not even MANACLES could contain his awesomeness.
DICTY oozes out of every word he says.
So totally AUDIBLE.
Mmm.
I totally want his SIGNATURE.
Fangirls are like super PEDANT about him.
A PORTFOLIO filled with pictures of him would be God’s gift to fangirls.
Seeing him in MOTION
Like a LOCOMOTION
Causes Global Warming.
Yes I’m serious.
Shut up.
Marissa Ashley and Bowie threesome for the win.
FOR WE ARE ONEEEEEEEEE.
